Women United for Christ Ministry is sponsoring a women’s empowerment workshop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary St.

Theme: Experiencing Spiritual Breakthrough.

The workshop will discuss seven tools for spiritual breakthrough, allowing for movement toward spiritual growth and success in fulfilling God-given purpose.

The event is free and will be held in the church’s Family Life Center. Registration and refreshments begin at 10:30 a.m.
