Re “Mobile home residents allege city’s actions discriminatory in HUD complaint,” May 7-9 edition:

The residents of Rudd’s Trailer Park allege aggressive city code enforcement. The trailer park had numerous safety violations over the years. The 2012 inspection found the comprehensive code violations.

The larger question is who owns the trailers? Are the residents renting the plots?

Mr. Ronnie Soffee, co-owner and manager of the park, thinks the city has unfairly threatened the park.

This property is no different than any other property in the city. It must meet the city code.
