“Arise & Soar — Destiny Awaits You.”

That’s the theme of a Women’s Empowerment Conference to be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5.

Location: The Family Life Center at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary St. in the West End.

Evangelist Minnie Jackson is scheduled to speak at the event.

Deborah Hammond is scheduled to lead praise and worship and Linda Anderson is scheduled to lead the dance ministry.

The conference is being sponsored by Women United for Christ Ministry, according to Evangelist Sharon Little, who is facilitating the event.

Registration is $20.

Refreshments will be served.
