Richmond gospel music icon Larry Bland and his quartet, Promise, are scheduled to perform a free concert 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1127 N. 28th St., in the East End, the church’s Scholarship Committee has announced.

Proceeds from ads, memorials and donations will provide scholarship assistance to college students at the church.
