Binford Middle School is marking its 100th anniversary at the Binford Centennial Celebration, featuring entertainment, dance performances, student art exhibits and activities 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 29, at the school, 1701 Floyd Ave., in The Fan.

Performances scheduled include Music in the Garden by folk duo Colin & Caroline; Binford’s choir, band and orchestra; the Latin Ballet and Binford dance students; and a poetry slam.

A time capsule, Binford timeline and museum also will be featured.

The event is free and open to the public.
