The burial of three veterans who died in Richmond has been postponed due to the snowfall, the office of Richmond Sheriff C.T. Woody Jr. has announced.

The Virginia Department of Veterans Services had planned to hold the burial with full military honors Tuesday in the state veterans cemetery in Amelia County.

The sheriff was to escort the cremated remains of the two soldiers and a sailor to the cemetery.

The new date for the ceremony hasn’t been determined.

The identities of the three men, whose bodies had been unclaimed, are being withheld until after the ceremony.
