Richmond School Board member and former principal Cheryl L. Burke leads an activity about acts of kindness Monday for second-graders from G.H. Reid Elementary School during the Black History Museum & Cultural Center of Virginia’s Children’s Book Festival. The event included the reading of “Each Kindness,” a book by Jacqueline Woodson, tours of the museum’s galleries and other activities.
