Henrico County native and American Idol finalist Rayvon Owen is to perform at the 25th Annual Southern Women’s Show, which will be held Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 17, at the Richmond Raceway Complex, 600 E. Laburnum Ave., in Henrico County.

Mr. Owen is to perform at 5 p.m. April 15 on the fashion and entertainment stage.

The 24-year-old also is to release new music this month at rayvonowen.com, according to a news release.

The Southern Women’s Show, now in its 25th year in Richmond, includes shopping, fashion, makeovers, cooking demonstrations and celebrity appearances, according to organizers.

Others scheduled to appear include singing troupe “Danee” of Richmond, “The BIG Burley Project,” a Richmond performance art burlesque group; celebrity stylist Michael O’Rourke; and magician and hypnotherapist Larry Volz.

A Goodwill Fashion Show will be featured with activities on April 16, while a Fido Fashion Show hosted by the Henrico Humane Society will be held on April 17.

Tickets are $10 at the door for adults and $5 for children ages 6 through 12. Children under 6 are admitted free with a paying adult.

April 17 is Teacher Appreciation Day, with school faculty and staff admitted free with ID at the box office.

Advance tickets are available at Walgreens stores for $7, or online for $8.
