Prepare for what’s about to happen

11/24/2016, 11:04 a.m.

Now that the election is over and everyone has wiped the tears from their eyes, I still have these questions: What happened? Why did it happen? Are we, as Americans, ready for what’s about to happen?

President-elect Trump has been accused basically of the same thing that Bill Cosby has been accused of — sexual assault — and there never will be an investigation concerning that.

Here’s a guy who was under question for his Trump University, but with the weekend settlement of the lawsuits, he may skate by that.

Here’s a guy who has labeled Latinos as rapists, murderers and drug dealers, and who has said all sorts of things about different people, who also has gotten over on people and has yet to reveal his taxes. But that ain’t going to happen, so we can forget about it.

He has divided this country into an abyss that we may never get out of.

How he could be elected as the next president is beyond me.

On the flip side, Hillary Clinton is no saint either. But she would have been a lot better than President-elect Trump in a lot of ways.

But because more people didn’t get out an vote, we have what we have.

To those who are protesting, continue to let your voices be heard, but do it in a peaceful manner.

This country needs to prepare itself for what’s about to happen.
