“Let’s Talk” is now online.

That’s the promised interactive website of Richmond Public Schools.

Students, parents and anyone else who wants to connect with district leaders and School Board members can now do so.

The entry to Let’s Talk can be found on the front page of the school system’s website at www.richmond.k12.va.us.

At the site, users click on the name of the School Board member or school official they wish to contact. That sends them to that individual’s homepage, where a list of options is available to submit comments, suggestions or questions.

The plan is for school officials to respond within three business days.

RPS Superintendent Dana T. Bedden said the program’s aim is to improve communications with the public and to make the district more accountable to those it serves.
