WTVR CBS6 news anchor Stephanie Rochon died in Richmond on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, after a battle with cancer.
Ms. Rochon, 50, had been with WTVR since July 1999 and anchored newscasts at 5, 6 and 11 p.m.
She was married and had two sons.
Born in Tacoma, Wash., she graduated from Louisiana State University in 1987 with a degree in broadcast journalism.
She was a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the Richmond Chapter of The Links.
