Craft + Design show marks 60 years of celebrating contemporary craft

Craft + Design, a premier contemporary craft show, is set to celebrate its 60th anniversary this weekend at Richmond’s historic Main Street Station. The event, which runs Nov. 22-24, will feature the work of more than 160 artists from across the country, offering shoppers a chance to explore and purchase museum-quality crafts.
Over the decades, Craft + Design has earned a reputation as a showcase for excellence in ceramics, precious metals, glass, wood, recycled materials, fiber and innovative designs. As part of the celebration, awards will be presented in categories such as contemporary design and innovative use of traditional craft materials.
The event also highlights local flair, featuring Richmond’s craft beer scene and food trucks alongside curated art displays.
Tickets for the event vary. Single-day admission is $16.80, and two-day admission is $27.30. For a more elevated experience, a $95.58 weekend pass includes perks such as complimentary gift wrapping and access to a mimosa bar.
