Free Press staff report | 5/15/2025, 6 p.m.
Richmond author Bethel Booth will host a book talk and signing Thursday, May 29, at The Queen’s Library Tea Room to celebrate her debut release, “Her Letters to Him: 50 Prayers by a Woman After God’s Heart.”

The free event, open to guests ages 17 and older, runs from 7 to 9 p.m., with doors opening at 6:45 p.m. The venue is located at 221 E. Clay St., and free parking is available.
Booth will read selected prayers from her book, share the personal stories and spiritual reflections behind them, and host a Q&A session. She also will share a first look at her next project — a memoir.
Complimentary tea and cookies will be provided. Guests may submit prayer selections in advance for a chance to hear Booth share the stories behind them during the event.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
