The State Fair of Virginia lights up the sky, as rides and colorful concessions welcome revelers on a cool autumn night. The annual event runs through Sunday, Oct. 5, at Meadow Event Park in Caroline County. Hours: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Sunday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
