Work is underway to reopen Broad Street in Downtown now that the bike races are over. On Tuesday, a crew was still busy dismantling the stands and barriers for spectators that were in place during the UCI Road World Championships that ended Sunday. Officials anticipate traffic will be moving again on Broad between 3rd and 7th streets this week. This portion of the street has been closed since Sept. 11.
