Coloring the universe //
Dominique Vick, center, carefully paints a mandala last Saturday at the 7th Annual RVA Earth Day Festival in Manchester. A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Indian religions representing the universe and most often is a square with four gates containing a circle with a center point. It was one of several family friendly activities at the event in South Side designed to promote environmental awareness.
