Hundreds of people pack Kanawha Plaza last Friday for “RVA Illuminates,” the new holiday lighting celebration of Downtown. The event, sponsored by the city Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facili- ties, featured music and holiday characters, including Jack Frost and the Snow Queen.
