Beating the heat/
Kiana Robinson and Dashon Roberts Sr. enjoyed a family outing at the city’s Blackwell Pool in South Side. As Ms. Robinson holds her 5-month-old son, Dashon Jr., her 7-year-old daughter, Kayoloni, clings to her back. So far this month, temperatures have reached or exceeded the 90s for 18 days. After a short break in the mid- to upper 80s on Friday and Saturday, temperatures are expected to climb next week and hover again in the 90s. (photo by Ava Reaves)
