Richmond native Rachel R. Filmore sings an aria at her senior recital March 3 at Norfolk State University. The 24-year-old Armstrong High School graduate and soprano, who aspires to a career in opera,
sings in French, German, Italian, Latin and English. She also is a member of the chorus of the Virginia Opera. Ms. Filmore is the daughter of Robinette and Alfonzia Filmore, owner-operator of the Richmond- based HGFB Bus Charters Inc.
