Trevor Laury, 23, finishes unloading a cord of wood with his father, Alex Laury, at The Smoky Mug café on Brookland Park Boulevard on Dec. 27. The cafe features Texas craft barbecue on weekends, and serves specialty lattes, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and locally- sourced bagels during the week, according to its website. The Laurys, in business about 15 years, deliver wood to The Smoky Mug every two to three weeks.
