Laura Thornton Wesley views posters that show the history of Richmond Community Hospital during a March 3 rally to save the hospital from being demolished. The rally was organized by Richmonders Viola Baskerville and Farid Alan Schintzius at the former Richmond Community Hospital on Overbrook Road. Virginia Union University, which owns the long vacant hospital, several weeks ago announced plans to raze the building and replace it with housing.
