Firefighters, first responders and community members bow their heads in a moment of silence during the opening ceremony Saturday, Sept. 6 at
Richmond Raceway after completing the Metro Richmond 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. The event honors first responders who died on Sept. 11, 2001,
