Music, food and beer flow at Oktoberfest- It wasn’t quite October, but Richmonders came out to the Museum District on Friday, Sept. 19, for the 20th annual St. Benedict’s Oktoberfest. The three-day festival features live music and dancing, a Christkindlmarkt, children’s activities, German food and beers from Germany and local breweries. A musician performs at the festival, which raises funds to support Catholic education, including scholarships and financial aid for students at Saint Benedict Catholic School and other diocesan schools.
