Diversified Energy, a natural gas and oil company, partnered with Operation Warm to provide 527 new coats to students at Henry L. Marsh III Elementary School. The event marked the fifth year of the partnership, which focuses on distributing new winter clothing to children in under-resourced communities. Holiday magic lights up the James River- The Richmond Boat Parade of Lights returned Saturday, Dec. 13 starting at 5 p.m. from Rocketts Landing and cruising downriver to Osborne Park & Boat Landing near The Lilly Pad restaurant around 7 p.m. Hundreds watched along the river and at popular viewing spots like Libby Hill and Osborne Park. Several brightly lit boats make their way down the James River, their colorful lights reflecting in the water.
