The university held multiple ceremonies over the weekend to honor graduates from various colleges and programs.

Demolition is underway at a crumbling parking garage at 509 E. Franklin St., forcing the closure of a nearby sidewalk and parking lane.

Just in time for Memorial Day weekend, all of Richmond’s outdoor pools will open to the public starting Saturday, May 24, at noon. For the first week, pools will operate on a holiday schedule: open Saturday, Sunday and Monday from noon to 7 p.m., and Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Regular weekday hours begin Monday, June 2.
