Confidence Building: Anthony Daniels enjoys his ballroom dancing lessons with his fellow fifth-graders at Southampton Elementary School in South Side. The program is part of Dancing Classrooms Greater Richmond, which uses ballroom dancing as a way to teach students social awareness and build self-esteem among youngsters in fifth and eighth grades. The curriculum, started in Richmond in 2012, is being employed this semester in four Richmond schools and two in Chesterfield.
