Memorial Day weekend 2016 // Between the sun and the showers, Memorial Day weekend was a time for reflection and remembrance of family members who have died and those in the military who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Hundreds of people attended the 60th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony sponsored by the Commonwealth of Virginia and American Legion District 11 at the Virginia War Memorial on South Belvidere Street in Richmond.
