The Rev. Tyrone Nelson, pastor of Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church in Jackson Ward and chairman of the Henrico County Board of Supervisors, will be the keynote speaker at the 33rd annual celebration honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Henrico County.

The event, sponsored by the Henrico County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Association, will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Henrico High School, 302 Azalea Ave.

In addition to the speaker, the ceremony will feature the presentation of distinguished community service awards, Lights of Hope awards and scholarships to high school seniors in the county.
