Tickets are on sale for the Richmond Flying Squirrels Eastern League playoff games starting Sept. 22 at The Diamond. There may also be games Sept. 23 and 25.

Richmond qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2014 by winning the EL’s Southwest Division first-half pennant.

It’s always wise to have advance tickets when attending Squirrels’ games. The team has some of the best attendance in all of minor league baseball with an average turnout of 6,142 through the first 41 dates.

Southpaw pitcher Kyle Harrison suffered a rough outing at the MLB All-Star Futures game held July 16 in Los Angeles.

Harrison allowed two home runs in just two-thirds of an inning and picked up the loss in an American League 6-4 win over the National League.
