By driving over the black rubber tubing across the roadway, this car adds to the count of vehicles using this street on Monday in Richmond’s Museum District. Location: 2900 block of Grove Avenue. Collecting accurate data on the number of vehicles using a roadway is part of the work of the Virginia Department of Transportation, which regularly sets out counters and the connecting tubing on streets and roads across the state. Stew fest: With the temperatures dropping last weekend, it was the perfect time for a cup of warm Brunswick stew.
