Virginia Union University women’s bowling Coach James Washington has added two local athletes to his roster.

Joining the Panthers for the upcoming season will be Regan Prickett from Mills Godwin High School in Henrico County and Deja Overby from Monacan High in Chesterfield County.

Both have been standouts in youth programs at Bowl America Short Pump and Southwest.

VUU will open its season Nov. 13 in a CIAA tournament in Charlotte, N.C. Bowie State University is the defending CIAA women’s bowling champion.
